Block of the Month 2011-2012 is all about scraps.
Continuing the theme of last year's very popular Scrap Insanity, the Block of the Month for 2011-2012 will again
help you use up those scraps that always seem to be on hand waiting for just the right moment to be sewn into a quilt.
We have chosen patterns that are simple to assemble and will often form a surprising secondary pattern.
The Rules are Few:
1. The background fabrics will either be white or perhaps a combination of white and cream.
2. As last year, the scrap fabrics within each block must be different.
If the pattern calls for 8 dark or medium pieces, you should use 8 different dark or medium scraps.
Winner Takes All.
This year, even when a large number of blocks are turned in, only one winner will be drawn. We are hoping this
will provide enough blocks so that the winner will be able to make an ample size quilt from them.
