COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS
Coastal Quilters Guild of Santa Barbara and Goleta is a California non-profit 501(c)(3) educational and charitable organization formed in 1988.  Our purpose is to educate our members about the history and preservation of the art form of quilt-making and related topics, to learn new techniques, improve skills and to inform the community-at-large about our rich quilt-making heritage. 

Coastal Quilters Guild is very proud of the level of philanthropic work we do within our community, each year supporting a variety of charitable and educational organizations, emphasizing support for our local community.  We presently engage in the following forms of direct community involvement, as described below:

DONATION REQUESTS
All requests must be in writing and accompanied by an “Application For Donation And/Or Assistance”.
Please attach additional information or material that explains more about your organization’s specific needs. Information you provide may be a contributing factor in determining our ability to assist you in achieving your goal(s).

SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
We do understand that many charitable groups within our community lack sufficient funds to host lectures or presentations on a regular basis.  As part of our our continuing mission statement, members of Coastal Quilters Guild offer a variety of presentations or speaking engagements available to our community and tailored to the specific audience. 

All requests must be in writing and accompanied by an “Application Request For Speaking Engagement”.
Please attach additional information or material that explains more about your organization’s specific needs. Information you provide will assist us in structuring a presentation to meet your goal.
