Vacaville: The Binky Patrol
We are currently working on making quilts and blankets for the Children of Japan who have suffered much in the recent Earthquake and Tsunami.
Do you have child size quilt tops sitting around you could donate?
How about some finished quilts in the 36x48 up to 48x52 inch range that a child would love to wrap up in?
Anything washable and made with love would be welcomed!
We are working with the Mayor of Fairfield and our sister city in Japan, Nirasaki, to get the quilts delivered to the children who need handmade hugs from the USA.
This special project runs until May 31. Please email Marilyn for her address or drop off new handmade quilts, quilt tops, blankets, crochet or knit afgans or fleece blankets at A Quilted Heart in Vacaville. We are having some special Quilt Days in the next two months.
