In the subject line in CAPITAL LETTERS write the word Challenge and your name like this.
“CHALLENGE- YOUR NAME”. Send the email with your photos in it no later than August 1
Here are some tips to remember when you photograph your quilt.
The quilt should appear flat and square in your photos. There should be grid lines on your camera that can guide you to be sure that the quilt is flat and square. Take a few photos. Preview them to make sure that your quilt looks square in the photo, NOT like a pyramid, bigger on the bottom than the top and NOT bigger on one side than the other.
Make sure that all of the edges are included in your full quilt shot.
Take photos of several interesting areas in your quilt, especially of the embellishments. Choose the two photos that show off your embellishments best.
Voting links will be on the Coastal Quilter’s website. You will receive more information when the quilts are ready for you to vote on. Voting will take place August 5-10.
